Location – Chelmsford
Hours – 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern – Monday-Friday (may include one late evening)
Salary – £26,000 per annum

Job Purpose & Summary
To supervise staff, volunteers and students in the locality, to ensure that the service is delivered in line with contractual requirement and service specification. The Senior Recovery Worker is responsible for promoting an inspirational recovery orientated workforce, who can deliver outcome focused, evidence based practice. To support the Centre Manager, the Senior Recovery Worker will be expected to provide day-to-day operational management and use initiative to make decisions, and will develop and nurture an effective team within an embedded learning culture.

What you need

– To hold, or be willing to work towards Level 3 in Team Leader/Supervisory Skills
– Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience working with substance misuse.
– Ability to drive and access to a car.
– Excellent communication, time management and administrative skills.
– A willingness to learn and work with a variety of people.
– Have a clear understanding of, and a commitment to safeguarding best practice.
– A commitment to multi-agency working, and be able to work in partnership with other agencies within the treatment system to achieve good outcomes for clients.
