An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced substance misuse worker to work within the Next Chapter Recovery Refuge in Colchester. Holding a caseload of a maximum of nine clients you will be responsible for assessing clinical needs and delivering treatment plans for the clients. Liaising with Essex STARS to arrange maintenance prescribing and medical detoxifications, providing relapse prevention and other interventions to enable the women to reduce and detoxify from substances of abuse, and establish a strong foundation for their recovery after leaving the refuge. You will supported by a dedicated team and manager, work alongside the Sharps day programme, and have the operational freedom to develop recovery focussed interventions as part of the comprehensive group programme offered at Next Chapter.
This is a very hands-on role with the responsibility of being the IT lead for the Charity and will be the single point of contact for both staff and service providers. You will be able to communicate well and be a natural problem solver providing solutions when required. You will be required to support SMT to make decisions relating to information governance and IT procurement.
The Management Accountant is a key member of the Head Office Team responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial management. Responsible for budgeting, reporting on financial performance together with taking the lead on cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, Gift Aid issues and monthly payroll and expenses. The Management Accountant is also responsible for overseeing all company property, liaising with suppliers, and the procurement of supplies.
To drive and maintain the Colchester SOS Bus under the direction of the SOS Buses Co-ordinator and promote the functions of the project, in particular supporting the service in Harwich and Clacton.
