Open Road is a charity with over 34 years’ experience helping individuals, families, and communities affected by drugs, alcohol, and other challenges. Working across Essex, Southend, Thurrock, and Medway, we support people to break free from addiction, improve wellbeing, and build positive futures.
Our services include treatment, recovery support, criminal justice programmes, and community initiatives for vulnerable groups. We also run safe, welcoming spaces that reduce isolation and stigma. Many of our staff and volunteers have lived experience, offering authentic, non-judgemental support.
