| Open Road Awards & Recognition 2022 |
In March 2022, we held our annual staff and volunteer Awards & Recognition event, which celebrates our amazing people and the impact they make in helping our clients, working in partnership with agencies all across Essex and Medway.
Throughout the year, we gather award nominations made by staff and volunteers for their unknowing colleagues. The nominations then go before our judging panel, which is made up of staff and volunteers who make the very difficult decision of who will win an award and who will be runners up.
The awards up for grabs each year are our GEM award for GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award for staff who have gone ‘above and beyond’ in their roles, STAR Award for volunteers who have shown commitment and loyalty, and PREMIER Award for teams who have made a difference. The top award is the Chief Executive’s Award, with the overall winner chosen by our Chief Executive Sarah Wright from all the amazing award winners.
