Our presence in North Kent has grown significantly over the past few years, with three services covering different client groups, representing 13% of the workforce and being supported by 8% of the volunteer group.
Service Manager
The Kent Service Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the Young Person’s Service, and the Recovery and Wellbeing Service, supervising staff and acting as the safeguarding lead.
Young Person’s Service
Young Person’s Substance Misuse Worker
The Young Person’s Substance Misuse Worker delivers a substance misuse service to young people ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate interventions that meet their individual needs. They are responsible for the assessment and management of a caseload as well as the delivery of both structured and semi structured interventions in both one to one and group sessions.
Team Administrator
Supporting the team with administrative duties, inputting data such as client records, and updating client databases.
Digital Hidden Harm Worker
Providing an online digital mentoring service working to improve the emotional well-being and resilience of vulnerable young people aged 8-19 years old, affected by familial substance use.
Wellness and Recovery Service
Wellness and Recovery Co-ordinator
The Wellness and Recovery Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting clients moving into recovery support, They are also responsible for supporting volunteers and peer mentors, ensuring they undertake all necessary training and are regularly supervised.
Building Recovery In the Community (BRIC) Worker
Leading on Asset Based Community Development and working with multiple partners, service users, peer mentors, volunteers, recovery networks and community groups to support the development of recovery communities across Medway.
Volunteer and Recovery Co-ordinator
Working closely with volunteers, this Co-ordinator is responsible for implementation, development and co-ordination of the volunteers within the service including recruitment and retention. They provide training and development opportunities to all Service users, volunteers, peer mentors and recovery champions within the service.
Team Administrator

Peer Mentor
Gaining workplace experience, and utilising their own life and recovery experience, the Peer Mentors volunteer with the Wellness service to support clients by providing peer mentor support.
