Festival & Events Welfare Services

Open Road is an experienced and professional provider of welfare services to festivals, events, fayres, carnivals, fetes and parties of all sizes across the country.

Our welfare services are managed and resourced by teams that are professionally trained and supervised to meet the needs and demands of any event.

Welfare services are a vital element to the infrastructure of any organised event or festival, providing attendees with a peace of mind that professionals are on hand if someone requires support or a place of safety.

What we offer

The aim of our service is to provide to safety, support and prevention initiatives to people at events who:

  • Are at risk of harm from alcohol or drug use
  • Require treatment or monitoring for alcohol/drug consumption
  • Require mental health wellbeing treatment
  • Require treatment for such instances of dehydration, sunstroke or sickness.
  • Have become (or are at risk of being) lost

Our staff are non-judgemental, professional, informed, friendly, patient, & treat people in confidence and with dignity.

We audit the work that we do to provide feedback to event organisers and to learn jointly about how we can continue to improve our services.
