In view of the current lockdown, it may become more difficult for our prescribed clients to justify leaving their homes to access an Open Road centre or pharmacy to collect their prescription. We have now introduced ‘Essential Travel Information’ cards that can be presented to the Police or any other authority should our clients be stopped on their journeys.
If you are a current Open Road client who is prescribed by Essex STaRS and would like a card, please email info@openroad.org.uk using ‘CARD’ as the subject and stating your full name, the centre you attend and the name of your allocated worker. Once received, we will then verify your details and send your card by email.
If you need to collect injecting equipment, please make sure you take enough supplies to last a two-week period to avoid multiple visits to our centres and local pharmacies.
