The Management Accountant is a key member of the Head Office Team responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial management. Responsible for budgeting, reporting on financial performance together with taking the lead on cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, Gift Aid issues and monthly payroll and expenses. Open Road has partnered with Outhouse East to undertake a collaborative pilot study to establish the local unmet for a service to support people from the LGBTQ+ community, that may be struggling with substance misuse and mental health issues. This position will involve researching the local area and providing assertive outreach to potential new service users. Read more
As a Digital Hidden Harm worker, you will work with young people who are experiencing multiple disadvantages due to a parent, carer or significant family member who is misusing substances. We are looking to train and provide Drinkaware Crew venues in Colchester and Chelmsford to improve our ability to look after guests on a night out, and to identify and support people who may be vulnerable due to drinking too much. Working with a partner, you will mingle with guests to encourage a positive atmosphere, and help guests in practical ways. You will work with security, management and bar staff to escalate issues if required, and will compete an activity log at the end of the shift. Read more
