Confidential GU Services
The GU Clinic provides qualified nurse once a week at the Colchester and Clacton site.
The service is confidential and accessible to all Open Road Service Users, Staff and Non-Open Road clients.
Services provided include HIV and other blood borne virus* screening and advice; information and advice on all other S.T.I’s (sexually transmitted infections) and family planning issues; advice regarding all aspects of sexual health. Access to further GU services.
Onward referral to other medical disciplines, where appropriate, is also available. Client support is provided for clients under the care of the gastro-enterology services. New services for 2005 include Hepatitis B vaccinations, emergency contraception and cervical screening.
Appointments are not necessary
Times: Clacton Tuesday – 11.00am – 1 pm
Colchester Tuesday – 3.00pm – 5.00pm
