Welcome to Open Road in Clacton. Here in Clacton we have around 20 different members of the team ranging from voluntary receptionists and project workers to full time project workers, body therapists, Counsellors, alternative therapists, after care and floating support workers, family support, women and alcohol, project nurse, and Probation workers.
The main Needle Exchange is positioned within Open Roads building which is a very busy part of our service. We run a very friendly and non judgemental service with a member of our team always at hand for when some one would like to discuss your drug or Alcohol problems.
One of the therapies that we have on a daily bases is Auricular (ear) Acupuncture group which is for detoxification, five needles in each ear, this can also help with depression, sleep patterns, cravings and anxiety.
When entering Open Road you will be met by a member of our team in the drop in where you will be able to discuss any issues you have around Drug and Alcohol in a confidential area.
